I looked in the mirror, and I didn’t see me
Just a bunch of marking and stitches
6 to be exact
A feeling of guilt started to weigh
Was I filled with that much hate?
The answer was yes
But after a few months, I realized I was blessed
The fat that covered my chest
Was barely there any more
Now I look in the mirror, and I see the best version of myself that I have ever seen
