Weekly Thoughts 56: I’m Back!

I’m back! It’s only been a day but it’s not like me to skip a day. 2 at that for the week I skipped. I don’t want to make this a habit but I have been having a huge writer’s block. I can’t think of anything. Even now I’m trying to find the words to describe this week. Let’s see what I come up with.

I finished another book. Reading wise that is. I started and finished On Writing By the great Stephen King. The King of horror known by some. I wanted to read this book from a blog post that listed some books for writers to read. So I logged on to Libby and just my luck they had it. Libby’s an app for reading library books online. They offer audio books as well. Anyways, it was a good read. Learned a lot about and from Mr. King. Some tips that I plan to put into play in my books.

I am on a roll with books this year. Honestly speaking I like to read but I barely read. That’s a problem I hear a lot for someone who likes to write. So I been on my mission of reading 20 books this year and I tend to complete that and then some. My 5th book is done and now I look to move on to the next.

I posted War Zone finally. I kinda just threw that one out there. I was disappointed a little because I felt like last week was the perfect time to release it and now it’s like an afterthought because times change and my thoughts too. I had so much trouble with trying to buy the beat. So I end up buying another beat instead and switching them. So here it is anyway. War Zone

Since I can’t think of anything, I may just write another writer’s block poem. That poem was cool to do. Sometimes I just have to write through the pain of not being able to think of what to write. Reminds me of something Stephen King referred to in on writing. Something about not plotting out his books and just writing and letting it just come to him. I think it was something along those lines. I just read that book, which should tell you about my comprehension skills lol. Do people write lol in blogs? How about haha? Off-topic

This week was boring. Still under quarantine where I am. Can’t wait to be semi-free. I want to do a summer photo shoot so badly. I just realized last year I couldn’t because I was still recovering from surgery. Also my clothes this time last year was so loose. I barely had boxers to wear. Too much information? Maybe a little. Anyways this the end of this week’s weekly thoughts. I hope I have new people reading. I always am grateful to have just one person reading. Almost forgot Happy Pride Month.
