Most times I just go to the gym. When I’m working out and not thinking much about writing that’s when it seems like the ideas just start to flow through me. Occasionally I’ll slow down on whatever machine and jot down what I’m thinking. Safekeepings for when I finish working out.
Some times a nice playlist of emotional music bring out the pain poems that I usually write. Artists like NF, Young L3x or even J. Cole, is some of the few that will have my mind racing to new ideas. Whether it’s something they’re talking about that makes me write. Or at times it may just be the flow of the song that makes me want to write.
A Library is a place I often get inspired to write. Just being around books and seeing others reading gets me inspired and motivated to create the book that’s in their hands.
