Why do people write poetry?
People write poetry to let out the pain
They sustain
From the hands of their everyday life
They speak on the mic
In hopes of connecting to another soul
To intertwine souls is what connects the poet to the room
As the issues they were feeling dissolve into the room
And their smile begins to shine like a delicate bloom
